On a standard package we cannot guarantee you a sighting of the fabled royal Bengal tiger but we can promise to take you to the land of the fearsome “bhag” where culture and tradition has grown around respecting lush forest with its abundance of exotic and unique species of animals, flora, and insects.

Paddle Steamer, ancient mosques, tombs and crocodiles - Duration 3 Days /2 nights

 

 Day 01: Leave Dhaka during the sunset on the Buriganga River (6PM) on a Rocket Steamer from the bustling Sadarghat Jetty. The steamer will offer both overnight stay with first class twin bed cabin accommodation and dinner in the restaurant.

 Day 02: Throughout the day long cruise be mesmerized by the riverine beauty and the welcoming faces along the way. The Steamer will stop at some of the important port towns en route before its last stop at the port of Mongla in the evening. Your guide will arrange for your transfer to Motel Passur# to check-in for dinner and overnight stay.

 



Day 03: Early breakfast, and then head towards Bagerhat, to explore the World Heritage Sites of Shat Gambud Mosque, the Tomb of Khan Jahan (Turkish warrior whose lake contains the rare marsh crocodiles) and other local areas of interest. Then drive to Jessore airport with a lunch break at Khulna. Taking the evening flight to Dhaka.

Ancient mosques and jungle - Duration 3days/2nights

 

Day 01: Take the short morning flight to Jessore where on a clear day you will marvel at the countless tributaries feeding in to the Bay of Bengal. Upon arrival, your guide will greet and drive you to Bagerhat breaking for lunch in Khulna. First we explore the World Heritage Sites of Shat Gambud Mosque, the Tomb of Khan Jahan (the Turkish warrior whose lake contains the very rare marsh crocodiles) and other local areas of interest. In the afternoon, you will be driven to Mongla to check-in, dine and overnight stay at the motel Passur#.

Day 02: After an early breakfast, we check out and board a boat to explore the largest mangrove forest in the world - the world heritage site of the Sundarbans. Our next visit is the Karamjal Wildlife breeding centre where you can see experts working hard in preserving the exotic species of the Sundarbans. We then cruise to Laudop village and the following stop will be for lunch near the Forest Office where you can explore a jungle village and experience the lifestyle of the locals. We return to the boat in the afternoon and cruise back to Mongla where in the evening you will find your driver ready to take you to Khulna for check-in, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 03: After an early breakfast, drive to Jessore airport to take the morning flight to Dhaka. Time permitting, we can visit the historical Barobazar on the way. This is the port where the world famous muslin used to be exported to the region and here we explore some more remarkable archaeological ruins of the Sultan Shahi period and possibly visit the biggest banyan tree in Asia.

Mystical Songs & Tagores Lodge* - Duration 2 days/1 nights

Day 01: Set off early for Kushtia and on arrival, check-in to the hotel and have lunch. The festival at Lalon Shah Mazar is a festival of music, dance, games and crafts to celebrate the life and times of the influential Lalon Faquir also known as “Lord of life”. We shall stay here until 10PM with a break for dinner. 

Day 02: Return to Lalon’s Mazar to enjoy more of the festival and after an early lunch we drive to Dhaka and en route visit the Nobel Prize Laureate in Literature Poet Rabindranath Tagor’s lodge in Shelaidaha in Kuthibari. Arriving in Dhaka in the evening.



Trail of the Bengal Tiger -Duration 3 nights & 4 days

Day 01: Fly to Jessore over the countless tributaries that feed in to the Bay of Bengal. Upon arrival, your guide will greet and drive you to Mongla where you will board the waiting motor boat. Lunch will be served and the boat will start its journey towards largest mangrove forest in the world - the world heritage site of the Sundarbans. The river banks will reveal a variety of flora and fauna and we will cruise till the captain anchors the boat near a suitable Forest Station for the night. Dinner is on the boat and your overnight stay will be to the chatter of the wildlife in the forest.

Day 02: Early in the morning, the boat will resume its journey deeper into the forest until it reaches Kotka where it might be possible to take a walk through the forest trail right up to the beach where you can climb the watch tower, bathe or even swim2 . Then its back to the boat for lunch and visit the Kotka forest office and adjoining areas to look for deer, monkeys, and other wildlife. The evening ends back on the boat for dinner and overnight stay inside the forest.

Day 03: Early in the morning we take a trip deeper inside the Kotka canals with small local boat and look out for wildlife. After breakfast, more forest activities will follow and around late afternoon the boat will start its journey back towards Mongla and will stop near the forest Station either at Harintana or Supothi for overnight stay on the boat inside the Mangrove forest.

Day 04: Today the boat resumes its journey towards Mongla early in the morning. You will leave the boat at Mongla port immediately after having an early lunc. We drive to Jessore airport to take the afternoon flight for Dhaka.
